Keep the guys you have now. Wright is still a kid and it is far harder to get top production from 3rd base than 1st. He put up monster numbers last year and this kid will only get better. Bay is a top fantasy producer as well and with the improvement of the kids that bat in front of him he will only get better. Ignore the complaining about Zitos contract, he is a fantasy producer and now a new league has to get used to him. He is a talent and should find life in the bay to be very good. In yearly leagues I wouldnt be surprised if Bay and Wright both go in the first round of a lot of drafts, 2nd round at worse with Howard being the only sure thing you would get in return. Plus the Mets have soured on Milledges attitude and he may find his way out of town before too long ( and likely to a team that will expect too much from him, he couldnt perform under that kind of pressure last year in NY).

Don't do it!!! Ryan Howard is the best piece of that puzzle, but seriously, it ain't hard to find yourself a power hitting 1B. Howard may be the MVP, but he isn't worth what you are about to give up. The other players the other guys is offering you aren't worth what you will be giving up. Unless he is traded, Lastings Milledge is going to be stuck in the minors now that the Mets signed Shawn Green and Moises Alou. Hunter Pence...what ever.
David Wright is one of the best young hitters out there, and being at 3B is a plus. He has many great years ahead of him and he hasn't even hit his prime yet. Jason Bay will consistenly give you 30 HR and 100 RBI. Even though in real baseball the Zito trade was terrible, for fantasy, it's a score. Zito will be playing in an NL West full of pitchers parks, and he will be dominant for at least a few seasons as the NL players try to figure him out. Basically you would be trading 3 great position players for one power hitting 1B. Not a good move!

Zito is the real deal and the fact that he is a lefty adds value toyour rotation. David wright was solid in 06 but is untested beyond that. unsure if the guy can carry that kind of numbers for multiple years. that makes him an uncertain card. I have my doubts about ryan howard, seems to me brady anderson in baltimore also had a 50+ homer season and was never the same hitter after that (roids? maybe)

my advice if you are serious about your league is to get a lot more for an established stud horse that Zitohas demonstrated with 200+ innings logged each year for how long? plus the fact that hes throwing in the fastball-rich NL now means his homer numbers are likely to rise. look at what mcgwire did when he went from the A's to the Cards in 1 season. 58 dingers with or without the chemical aid, most of those clubbings came after the trade. I expect Zito will be subjected to that as well.

Get more in the deal on your end or refuse the trade.

DON'T ACCEPT. david wright and jason bay together will give you more value than ryan howard, and lastings milledge is nowhere near a sure thing. revisit it later if you want, but don't accept it now. also, barry zito is pitching in the NL, a substantially weaker league, which will probably boost his numbers.

Stay put. David Wright and Jason Bay are money All-Stars, and Zito though he is grossly over paid could have a better showing in the NL than in the AL.

shop Jason Bay. do not commerce him. If he replaced into on a greater advantageous team he could submit 320 avg/ 40hr/ 120rbi. yet pitchers have had the posh of pitching around him. With the emergence of Freddy Sanchez and the Pirates unfastened agent signings, it looks as though Bay would have a appropriate 365 days. Verlander replaced into large interior the 1st 0.5 of 06, yet tailed off interior the tip of the season and replaced into very ineffective interior the playoffs. Lastings Milledge particularly scratches this equation.

I wouldn't do it. Milledge isn't that great yet and Zito, and Wright are priemer players at their postions.

If you put your guys that you are giving up on a scale and compare it to yours it would say you are giving up way too much.
