Okay the Lions have the number one pick locked up...all they need to do is lose to a playoff team...and they are blowing that as well...good god what is wrong with the Lions?

Having the number one overall pick is way overrated. There's no guarantee that any draft pick will be a superstar. Some teams actually trade the pick, so they can acquire another player who they think can better fill their needs. Will the Lions be any more devastated if they get the #2 guy?

Yeah i mean the chargers had the number one pick a few years ago traded it got LT in first round then 2nd round drew brees for micheal vick

if you are talking about the lions not being able to get brady quinn because raiders will get ahead of them and take him, the lions could care less. they dont need a qb. they need a wr, defense, o-line, and rb. basically they need a whole team.
the lions want to win.

Maybe they don't want the pressure of picking #1, so maybe people won't realize that they don't know how to draft.
