I have never seen 2 gays kissing in public in Glasgow as they would probably be beaten.
Saying that a man and a woman in glasgow would probably get leathered too ;)
Come to Glasgow, visit our famous accident emergency room;)

Of course they should. A show of affection is perfectly normal whatever your sexuality. However, what is not so acceptable is over the top kissing and loving that we gays have to put up with when straights seem to think they can almost have sex in public. There is a time and place for everything. Simple affection is okay but not exploring each others throats.

Last time I checked this was a free country.....so yes. Everyone deserves the same rights. Personally, I don't think anyone should be kissing in public regardless of whether they're gay or straight. That kind of thing should be done in private. Public displays of affection seem to be getting out of hand. (e.g. sex in public). People just need to be more modest.

if it is okay for anyone to kiss in public then everyone should be allowed to; gender or sexual orientation should not matter. After all to some cultures a kiss is a form of greeting and not a sexual act. So I say kiss anyone who is kissable and enjoy it. Just don;t turn it into an overt sexual display in the restaurant lest someone lose their lunch - hehe.

ABSOLUTELY & DEFINITELY.
If straight people said that it's disgusting and a no-no to see gay kissing in public, then I say it's so sickening, obnoxious and nauseating to see straight couple kissing in public.
Gay people MUST be able to kiss in public spaces no matter what. Life is all about freedom... If you can't say what you want or do what you will, you basically live in a fascist life. Why straight couple could kiss in public, and gay people are not allowed? Who made that rule? What is the different between gay and straight couple? Straight couples really feel more righteous and holier than gay people?
There is no rule in this world that forbids gay to kiss in public. But obviously that 'invisible rule' comes from people's bigotry, uneasiness, narrow-mindedness and stereotypical preconceived notions.

I don't like it when a straight, gay or lesbian couple starts a full blown make out session in public. I don't mind pecks or short kisses though and think everyone should be able to regardless of their sexuality.
I'm a lesbian and have kissed my gf and ex gfs MANY times in public. I've held hands and cuddled too. I've never had a problem besides stares. I live in South Eastern PA and have done this in a suburban area and had no problems.

Yes. It's okay for gay people to kiss in public. As long as it's not the kind of kiss that you would do when you're about to have sex, but that's for couples in general.

I think it's perfectly fine for people to show affection in public, just by kissing or hugging. The more explicit shows of affection, love or just plain lust should be kept private - and that goes for straight couples also.

Yes I do. And Have done so. But I also believe that it is personal choice and that anyone who does kiss there same sex partner in public has to be prepared for people abuseing them for it.

I don't have a problem with anyone showing affection in public. However there is a difference between showing affection and almost having sex in public. There is a fine line that has nothing to do with sexuality and everything to do with decency.
