I know for a fact that UK, Greece, Sweden, Belgium, France and Cyprus dont, as I have visited them and they dont do that. I have never heard of any airport in Europe doing this. But I dont know about other countries, outside Europe.

I've never been fingerprinted in an international airport, including the US. And I'm talking post-9/11. Maybe it's changed since I was last there though! I've flown from Toronto a couple of times in the last couple of years and no fingerprinting. Went to the Carribean though, not to the States.

No not at the moment, it is only in the US and also there is a worlwide trial call Iris, which instead of having your passport they take a retina scan and finger print scan and use this as your passport, airports such as London Heathrow are trialling it but you need to be pre-registered prior to using it.

It is an excellent tip for frequent business travelers traveling into London a lot as the Iris scheme is used very little, it means you fly through passport control and never have to queue. To register arrive early at Terminal 4 then follow the signs (or ask for) for the Iris Registration Center, which is airside, i.e where duty free is and register, very quick and simple and will save you hours long term!

Not that I know of, they at least don't fingerprint at the international airports in Houston, Chicago or Indianapolis.

No, I've never been fingerprinted, though it's nearly 3 years since I was last in the US.
