My friend (Lilly) went over to my other friend's (Gabriella) house. They were working on a gingerbread house, but they made a bit of a mess. Gabriella said there were a bunch of frosted flakes they'd used for the house on the floor. Lilly, however, saw through completely different eyes: "Oh, we only spilled like three little things on the floor. So what if we did? Gabriella's got a MAID at her house to clean up for her!" I didn't know how to reply. I have to admit when she comes over to my house to eat, she doesn't even bother to pick up her cup and plate and put it by the sink-- I guess it's because we have a HOUSEKEEPER (notive how I don't refer to her as a MAID). She's, otherwise, polite when she is around adults. She seems really fake, though. She can be nice and rude. What should I do? Our parents are really close friends, and they wouldn't believe me: they think she's a "sweet girl". HELP!

she sounds spoiled. its probably not her fault though, its the way she has been raised. im guessing she doesnt realize how rude she acts. maybe u could talk to her about it. as long as you still value your frienship and enjoy spending time with her then u should remain friends but if u are starting to sense u really dont have much in common anymore and she just annoys u then maybe u should start hanging out with her less.

I know what you mean about the parents deal, because I used to have a friend that my parents thought was sweet, too. Now they know she's not, but they're still friends with the parents, even though I had problems with them as well. Actually this happened to me twice.

First tell your friend that she needs to stop being rude about your housekeeper, and just because she's there doesn't mean that you shouldn't help her out by cleaning up something so simple as a few things on the floor. A housekeeper is meant to help out, not to do everything. If she doesn't stop, then avoid inviting her over, and when she's over because of your parents, make sure that she cleans up, even if you have to bring parents into it.

If she has someone always picking up after her, then she hasn't learned that skill from her parents. Its her parents fault that she is lacking this. She probably is a sweet girl, so when she visits your house, tell her those are your parents rule (to clean up after yourself when she visits). If she listens to your advice, then keep her as a friend. If she doesn't respect your wishes, get a new friend because she is just a spoiled little imature brat. Just tell her like it is.

We can have as many, or as few friends as we choose. You can have acquaintances with whom you're not so close but on speaking terms, and really close friends you can trust. Maybe you have different values and are growing apart. You don't have to be on bad terms, maybe you could see a little less of her until you decide if you want her to continue to be a close friend.

Tell her that you do not appreciate the way she acts and let her know that she is expected to clean up after herself, housekeeper or not. That is your home, don't let her disrespect it.

i dont think she makes a good friend .she's selfish and doesn't have consideration for other people, and she seems to me the kind of person that would do something wrong and when someone discovers it she would blame you for it.
