When I put "Fearless" into my laptop it will play fine. But when I put "The Lord of the Rings:The Fellowship of the ring" in it doesn't show up in my computer. The computer acts as if there is no DVD in the drive. I am using windows XP. How can I play these DVDs on my PC?

The DVDs play fine in a DVD player.

Some DVD's are very touchy and will only play some types of media. If you have another computer you might want to make a copy of the DVD with a better brand of DVD disk

It could be because your DVD drive on your laptop is shot. I have the same problem. My dvd drive won't recognize some DVD's, but when I put the game into the bottom dvd drive/writer, it works fine. Good luck to you.

You could go to My Computer, right-click on the drive that you're having trouble with, and select Properties. From there, select the tab on the top of the box that lets you choose events that will happen when you insert a music CD. Reset them to what you want them to be. Probably another program disturbed your current choices.
