I never really had one in all my 57 years, and tonight won't be any different, unless it is in my dreams, cause I am spending my birthday and New Year's Eve by myself.

I've never had a romantic New Year's Eve. I won't have one tonight either because I chose not to invite my boyfriend, and things would not have been romantic anyway, because my parents would be there and I am not a romantic person.

a friend of mine went country dancing one new years eve as just friends. we had such a good time that evening that it got romantic. i still kick myself that she and I did not date longer after that. she was fun and a nice person. I went away for graduate school and she got married to an old boyfriend who came back into her life. oh well. it's cool to at least have a nice memory.

Mine was a couple of years ago with my bf. He set up the entire apt with candles, music, wine, food. It was really nice, we put all the these cushions on the floor and had a nice nite all to our selves. Back messages and all. Was really nice. I have not had a New Years like that in a while.

I'm still waiting, this will be my 14th one and then my birthday follows 25 days later. My brother says he knows what he's getting me.. I wonder what. My parents met at a New year's party when they were introduced.

Well every year with some friends we have a party and we lower a ball down like they do in new york city when its midnight. i watched it last year with one of my guy friends and when it came down he put his arm around my shoulder and kissed me on the cheek. it was really just a friendly thing but it still makes me smile when i think of it.

It was 2006's new year! My boyfriend came over, unexpectedly. He brought some flowers and chocolate with him. We sat in my living room with candles burning; then he turned around and kissed me!

i never had one , but god soo help me if he can find me a pretty girl, i told my mom that i wanna get married in my 20's! like 26. thats what i told her, she said ok.
