Webcots.com is reporting on rumors that Asian video sharing site TumTube.com, is being sold for between $20-30 million. They also speculate that the buyer could be Yahoo.
With YouTube selling for $1.65b, TumTube.com seems like an absolute bargain. Then again, YouTube has 23 million unique visitors a month in the U.S., while TumTube.com has just 1 million. A large number of TumTube.com Visitors are from Europe and Asia. Can anyone else comment on this rumor?

Well, i come from an asian country & i have been using internet for more than 10 years now. I haven't heard of anything so called 'Tumtube.com'. Yahoo would look for a company which can be benificial to its products. yahoo already has videos.yahoo.com site for videos & i don't belive yahoo's aquisition of another video company again.

Actually Google bought YouTube for $1.7 billion.

Hmm, look at that, some guy made YouTube and didn't make a dime, over two years, Google gave him $1,700,000,000! Man, that's a good way to get filthy rich.
