2001 - My cousins and some of my relatives stayed in our house from december 15-january 7. we played games all the time we want, we had huge amounts of food at the table and my uncle tosses the coins and we get to play who gets the most. i couldn't sleep because the fireworks were so loud, we even have to shout when we talk. This was when I was in the Philippines (the best country when it comes to xmas and ny)

2006 - This was my last NY celebration in the Philippines. ALL of my relatives came to our house and they brought food as well. We had fireworks outside after the countdown. Hearing and seeing the fireworks with relatives brings me a good feeling. We get to play games, eat a lot, talk, didn't sleep and greeted neighbours and bringing them food.

FILIPINOS ROCK!!! try going in that country on December and celebrate xmas and new year.

It was sometime in the late 80's, I think, and I was at a house party...got totally plastered on rum drinks and all I remember was having a conversation about Hitler with a girl just as plastered as myself...and sitting on the floor near a keg, throwing ice cubes across the kitchen at my friend's boyfriend. Ahh, the good ole days.

The year I had like a half dozen parties to go to. It started in my street, then with someone else driving, I made the rounds. It was a blast not to be repeated, at least not yet.
