I don't think they're over. The Olsen Twins told the Today show that they spent the last couple of years satying out of the spotlight to go to school. Ashley still attends but MK dropped out earlier this year. They have a new high fashion version of their Mary Kate and Ashley line coming out in 2007 for adults. Also Mary Kate has a part in the movie "Factory Girl" coming out in Feb. 2007 which features Sienna Miller and Hayden Christensen.

Out of the two of them i'd say Ashley isn't over, she seems pretty sensible and 'together'. MK on the other hand doesn't seem so stable. I know she's had her problems but she doesn't seem to care about anything much these days.
I have no clue what's happened to their dress-sense, it seems to have disappeared bit by bit lol.
All in all though, if they did more serious acting in more serious movies maybe it'd work out well.

My sister knows some people who went to school with the olsens saying that they are on drugs and pretty much just do that. They have their company still making money but I doubt they are doing anything else at the moment.

Right now they are focusing on college. They should be out of college by the next ten years. Ashley, i believe is studying film production. You should see her in the next couple of years.

I think that they have lost a small portion of their fan base because of their recent issues and mainstream failures. They are still popular in reruns of the show, video releases, and clothing line. They really don't ever need to work again, they are worth a fortune.

I never saw what the fascination was in the first place. They were funny-looking kids and they are funny-looking teens. They remind me of ET wearing clothes he found at the Salvation Army.

They are in college. I think that after college they will go on to other movies, but they will do movies separated.

you don't hear much about them even thought they are still going with they're business . they have fashion lines and they were in school(I'm not sure if they graduated thought)
