The margin doesn't matter. In order to have a chance to get in, they need both Detroit and Minnesota to win, and can afford at most one loss among Arizona, Cleveland, Miami, New Orleans, San Francisco, and Seattle. Considering that the Vikings are getting destroyed (34-7 as of this writing), it doesn't look good. Looks like the Pack will be playing for pride tonight.

It's a HUGE longshot, but still possible Winning by a large margin over the Bears won't really help..they just need to win. And every other card has to fall into place. (games that the Packers have no control over).

I'm a Titan's fan...hoping they get into the playoffs. Similar situation.

Green Bay Packers can clinch playoff berth with win, Giants win, and clinching strength of victory tiebreaker over Giants (Packers clinch strength of victory tiebreaker over Giants if all of the following occur: Cardinals win, Lions win, Dolphins win, Vikings win, 49ers win, Panthers lose, Texans lose, Buccaneers lose. If Packers and Giants end up tied in strength of victory, then tie will be decided by best strength of schedule.)

Nope. They have to beat the Bears, have Detroit, Miami, Minnesota, Arizona, and San Francisco win, and have Carolina, Houston, and Tampa Bay lose.

At least four of those things aren't happening right now, so by the time they take the field tonight, they will have been eliminated from the playoffs, and John Madden can come down to the field and give Brett his parting fellatio.
