I have my dsl modem plugged into my pc tower and from my tower I have my ethernet cable plugged into my slimline ps2 is this the write way? If not could somebody PLEASE help me

It would be alot easier if you just went and bought a cheap router so you could connect the router to your modem and your computer and ps2 to the routers ethernet ports and forget about it.
