You have a choice of.;1st.check your hand book.In there,a previous owner might have put the key numbers in there.2nd.You could even contact the original owner, you would be surprised how many people still keep details after the car has been sold.3rd.depending on the age of the Astra, after 95,your key will have a transponder inside it.If this is the case you will need to contact your local vauxhall dealer. They can obtain keys which will have to be programmed with the security code for the vehicle. If you are worried that you keys.Your dealer will advise you that you will be able to purchase a vehicle lock set. This will be a full set of new locks for all doors and ignition. That way you don't have to worry about the old keys turning up in the wrong hands. But if you do it this way,ask for the old barrels back! That way if by any chance you come across the keys at a later date, you will have a complete spare set.

With the chassis number of the car and proof of ID a Vauxhall dealer can get you a new key cut (cheaper than changing the locks), you can get the chassis number off the log book, but that will take a few days, sorry = (

If you get on to the dealers for Vauxhall they keep a record of all key codes for every car , you must show your log book as proof that you are the owner , if you have the key code there are many key cutters about who will cut one while you wait

Gonna have to replace the lock barrel. Get on ebay quite cheap, What age is the car? May get cheap from dealer.
Barrel should be easy to change, especially on the older models.
Only need to change the door locks if you really need to have one key.
If the car is fairly new you may be able to get new keys from dealer but expect to pay through the nose

its gonna cost an arm and a leg.
If you dont have a spare, you need to make a claim on the insurance.
It will cost money because the locking system will have to be changed.
I am guessing you are at home and so is your car, maybe they are misplaced in the house.
