In the old days humans roamed around the earth killing prey and drawing on cave walls. Now we are restricted to our homes and workplaces, virtually dependent on technology. Do you feel that we are becoming robotic as a whole?

Hey,
Earlier this year, i had to describe myself in five words or less.
My choice was
zombie, vampire, robot.
Zombie for these days we truly are brainless.
Vampire as we all thrive on the weak, much to my dismay.
And yes robot, as emotions are second place to success.
I meant it in humor, but it's stayed with me, and i kinda think there's some truth in it.

Not me.
I don't mind using a computer 14 hours a day at a stretch. I also get out. I have a job that keeps me outside.
You can still draw now. Why are you chicken?
Anyway, if you lived way back when we were hunter/gatherers, you would've found that you spent little time hunting as gathering was the many food source, and even then, we pretty much kept ourselves eating well without much effort. Lots of leisure time that would be spent on better things than hunting.
I don't mind being home and my workplace moves.
I don't mind being dependant on technology. I've been using the internet since before most people. They've always been stuck in offices. They just had other things to complain about back then.

I do in the sense that society drives home the idea that we go to school, pick a carreer and I am suppose to be stuck working 9-5 until I am too old to enjoy anything.
I think technology has forced this even more. Because technology was suppose to make our lives more easy but all it has really done is drive up production, thus making us work more.

No.... I feel like we are becoming more complex....
I don't know about anyone else... But I would rather NOT be slaughtered by a cave man... which is what they did.. back in the day..

Sometimes I do. Feel dehumanized somedays.
I don't think about it often though.
