I don't know if there was any point in history when non-muslims didn't think of muslims as bloodthirsty, sorry. The use of the word "terrorist" is a relatively modern word, meant to distinguish the "peace loving" muslims from those carrying out jihad aganist teh non-muslim world.

Yep. Muslims are just like the rest of us...it's just a different religion. I respect all religions and beliefs.

Glad to have grown up in a family that taught me that.

It's all in perception.

The ignorant people choose to blame the whole religion for this travesty when in truth it was a small radical group of Fundamentalist Muslims.

People are people. If you can take the time to get to know them, then you'll see that everyone is different.
