Selfish act.
It is not a child-centric act

A child need not just a mom, but the energy of a mom for quite a few years after birth.

The mother may have her child, but the child may not have it's mother (energetically, physically, and mentally) for very long.

If taken practically, this is the wrong thing to do to a child.

First, I think the woman is crazy to want to have a baby at 67 and should have a physiological review.

Second, the doctors who did the in vitro should have their license to practice medicine suspended, pending a medical review board (if they do that there).

Third, I think the mother had best find someone to adopt the kids before she dies of old age (which could be any time now).

Unfortunately and inevitably there is self-interest in most what we do for those we love "without conditions", including our own children (whom we love as much as we can). Mommies that brag about their children needlessly, are a prime example. This mother, of age, is but another example - somewhat beyond the norm. However, on the other hand, she may have acquired wisdom she can give her children - and hopefully her "maternal instincts" will have suffered little because of age. In the end, getting pregnant was clearly selfish. Raising the children, on the other hand, while somewhat selfish may done with the benefit of sound wisdom (though there is no guarantee, of course).

Yeah, and I sorry to say this but she's at the near-death stage. The average life span of a person is 75, so if she's dies around that time how will the kids take it without a mother.

Foolish. God didn't mean for it to happen (and we are not designed that way). Menopause happens for a reason! :)

The mother will die in 10 years (based on average life spans). So, yes, it is selfish.

How is that selfish? The problem is though that because the person that is giving birth might have some problemes because they are older

i think its selfish cause how old would she be when they go to preschool 70 ? or lets say when the twins are 20 she would be 87 !

Why would that be selfish. If she is healthy, and desired to have children, then I think she is blessed. Most women that age, cannot have anymore children. I wish her and her children, health and long life.
