polish has no effect on your nails, unless it has a nail growth formula in it. The best thing to do is to file your nails. this makes them stronger and promotes growth. Also another old wives remedy, which i do and it works great, is to take a small clove of garlic. crush it down, and then put that into a bottle of clear nail polish. Paint it on your nails every day and this will make them strong and grow long.
Cuticles are at the base and sides of your nails. Its that translucent flap of skin covering your nail. What that does is protect the new nail coming out.

Im not too sure of what kind of ailpolish makes your nails grow faster, because I get acrylics, but anyways.. cuticals are the thin thin thiiin layers of skin at the bottom of your nail. I guess its supposed to protect your nail and finger from infection or someting?

Sally Hansen Maximum Growth nail polish is what i use. All it is is vitimans for your nails. It's a clear plish that is sold at the drug store. Cuticles are the skin around and below your nails. To treat and care for them your can use cuticle cream.
