OOOOH! it makes me SOO MAD!
my neighbor across the street does everything I do! if I plant purple flowers, she does it, we just recently got a new glass front door, and she begged me for my old one saying she couldn't afford a new one right now (saving for one)
I dyed my hair red, she did the same, then I got it highlighted she did the same, I had my husband build me window boxes, she did the same thing- EXCEPT she uses FAKE PLASTIC flowers!
she told me 'imitation is the best for of flattery--- but to whom!?
I cant stand her now, she makes me sick!

I absolutely HATE it!! I have two friends that copy everything I do. If I get a new car, they have to. If I get a new phone, the have to. If I say I really like something they try to buy it before I can.
If you can't think for yourself then you are just freakin pathetic.
In a nut-shell, copying me pisses me off!

It bores me. If I do it, it's already been done. Can't they think of something new? There was a girl in school who copied me like she was a clone or a twin. Nearly drove me NUTS. And she followed me around a lot. The teachers kept telling me to be nice to her. rrrrrrrr I hated that. Every where I looked, there she was, and the dang teachers kept making me sit with her. Like I couldn't choose my own friends?! And she SMELLED BAD. Worst thing in the world to me is someone who stinks. So there I sit, with this duplicate me who wasn't quite right, because she always tried to do my stuff, but homemade, if you follow. And I can't breathe, because she smells so bad (wouldn't take baths, even in high school!). Still gives me chills up my spine, 30 years later. arrrgh!

On one hand I want to tell them to find their own style, on the other hand "imitation IS the sincerest form of flattery"!

I'm actually flattered when someone "copies" me, as they say imitation is the best form of flattery!

well, it depend...depends on why the person is copying our styles or actions. if the person copies it cause he appreciates us, then i feel great. but if he imitates to make fun of us, then i feel really bad and want to say "SHUT-UP"!

I don't think anyone has done that in awhile. Or if they do, it's little kids, like high schoolers or something. Doesn't happen much after that unless you're going through an identity crisis or something.

love is the greatest form of flattery, because the person who copies u thinks u can be duplicated, the person who loves u knows u cant.
