The biggest and most impressive is the Masai Mara. In this park (which is also the greenest) you have the bigges chance to see the BIG FIVE.
However each region has its specialties and are very much different as well. I have no idea how you are planning on travelling but if you have the chance to stay at different lodges in different places, I am sure that you will get the taste of Kenya at its fullest and like me- have a grin on your face for the entire stay. Enjoy this beautiful and amazing country, do not forget to respect nature as it is- YOU are the guest.
have a great time!

Tsavo national Park. i think of the main visited national park in Kenya is the Maasai Mara national Park which borders the common Serengeti national Park in Tanzania. Microsoft founder invoice Gates and previous US President George Walker Bush have the two visited the common Serengeti national Park in Tanzania.

Like the other poster - I would go for the Masai Mara. It has a bit of everything. We were there last February and saw everything: lions (TONS of them!), hippos, crocodiles, zebra, giraffes, elephants, cheetahs, leopards... It really is amazing.
Some other places that I liked were Lake Nakuru (flamingos and rhinos galore!) and the Ark in the Aberdares for night-time game viewing. Lake Nakuru and the Ark were within driving distance of the Mara. All the parks are in south-centralish Kenya.
Enjoy Kenya! It is an amazing place!

I'm Kenyan-born etc....I've been to a majority of the national parks. I must say my favorite one is Masai Mara esp. during the great migration from Serengeti; it's definately one of those things you want to see before you die.

everyone has said it and i will repeat it. Masai Mara is the place to be, you can even meet some from the masai tribe. they took us on a hike and taught us how to start a fire with cow dung.
