I would wait until you are completely sure that you are gay. 14 is a little young to be coming out of the closet. If I were you, I would wait until you are at least into your late teens. I didn't come out until I was 20, but that was me. If you are positive that you are gay, then by all means "come out!"

Well, you are gay right? So it is really a matter of WHEN should you come out. You are going to eventually. You should just tell your family that you have to tell them something important and tell them straight out. Explain how you feel and if your guess is right, they should be able to accept that. It might come as a shock, so try to be as understanding about their questions as you want them to be with you. Good luck with your decision.

HI.THE ONLY ADVICE I CAN GIVE AND I HOPE ITS OK. FIRSTLY IF YOUR PARENTS ARE OPEN TO THIS SORT OF THING THEN TELL THEM. THE LONGER YOU KEEP IT BACK AND THINK ABOUT IT THE WORSE IT FEELS. IVE COME OUT THE CLOSET ABOUT MY TRAN SEXUALITY TO SOME CLOSE FRIENDS OF THE FAMILY AND THE SUPPORT IS GREAT AND MY BEST FRIEND IS ALSO GREAT. A FEW OF MY FRIENDS HAVE SOME IDEA BUT I'M NOT SA YIN. TELL THEM THEY MIGHT BE ANGRY AT FIRST AND SHOUT BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY I'M SHORE THEY WILL STILL LOVE YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE THEIR SON

Your family may look at it differently if it was someone in the family, but at least their minds are open enough to accept gays. Tell one person first to gage the reaction, then the rest

You can always come out, you can't always guess some ones reaction to your doing so. Friends are different than a family member. You might want to contact http://www.pflag.org/ they are good people with a lot of good info...Good Luck

You have it a lot easier than many of us did when we came out. Just tell them that you are gay. If they accept you then nothing will change and if they don't then you are just going to have to persevere like so many others do.

Go for it..if you do it at a younger age it gives your family more time to adjust to it as you get older. Also its just something you dont have to stress about anymore once its over and done with.

When your 14 oyu can't be positive that your gay. Wait until your a bit older and when you know you're gay, oyu can tell them. Don't be afraid.

At 14, Im sure you are not certain yet....give it a couple more years before you place yourself in a closet.
