I have an HP photoprinter, I'm not completely sure what model it is, but its the silver one...(I think they're all silver actually.) But anyways...it works great! I use it plugged in because a battery didn't come with it, and I didn't buy one yet. Even with the plug, it's lightweight and portable, and totally worth buying. I love it because it's so much easier than putting all the pictures onto the computer, and prinitng them on a regular printer..which sometimes doesnt have the best quality or comes out lopsided or whatever.

They are all the same these days .. just go for whatever suits you.

NB. Ink cost a FORTUNE ... and the 'portable' units usually have (much) smaller ink tanks ... I doubt you will get 100 6x4's out of one

If you are REALLY intending to print 1,000 pic's you should consider going to the Mall / using an Internet photo-print service (will be a lot cheaper).
