i have 2 desktop
i wanna know if there is a way to do networking wirelesly with these 2 desktops
i know i need a router and i have i have a cable modem
watelse would i need
pleeeeez lemme know watother products shoul i buy
and wat r the best

I really like D-Link myself, but Netgear and Linksys are very popular also.

If both of the desktops will be located away from your cable modem you will want to connect them wirelessly to a wireless router. If one desktop is sitting next to the cable modem then I would connect that one using ethernet cable to the wireless routers ethernet ports.

So if both desktops need to be wireless I would suggest two wireless usb adapters like the D-Link DWL-G132 and use a router like the D-Link DI-624.

OK, since you have or know you need a wireless router, one computer will have to be wired to the router. The other computer can connect wirelessly, but it will need a wireless PCI card installed internally or a USB network adapter. You will need 1 cat5 network cable to wire the one computer, which probably will come with the router, most do. That's it...

Wireless card for the second PC. Then you need the manual and about as much common sense as it takes to flip a light switch.
Just do things one by one, and take your time, there's no hurry.
