Yes there are. It varied between people, depending on your hair and skin type. Some people will experience spots on the area waxed, specially if they have never been waxed before but they go down after a few days. The are may look red for a while, you may get an allergic reaction and so on. It depends on how well your skin takes it. Maybe get a small area waxed first and see how it goes?

If your doing it at home to cold wax because you could easilly burn your skin(like I have sadly done) but you can also do hot wax on your arms and legs (but it is a bit messy) but for the sensitive areas like your underarms do it at a salon or use cold wax.

Hot wax...well, let me clarify- the kind of wax you want to use is referred to as "hot wax" because you have to heat it up, but DO NOT apply it to your body while it's still scalding hot- you want it to be warm when you put it on. Oh, and cold wax doesn't work at all.

hot wax-but if it's too hot it'll tear off the skin too...

u can use either but you'll probably prefer using body sugar. it hurts less and its usually more effective.
