I have a black mini dress that I want to wear for New Years Eve. How should I wear my hair (bra strap length hair) and how should I accessorise?

wear your hair up do the twist effect twisting little pieces at a time and using bobby pins. Long fancy earrings. dramatic eyes and nuetral lipstick always worked for me.

A black mini-dress, to me, seems like the kind of dress you would wear with your hair down. It's not formal or even semi-formal, and a "hair-up do" seems more appropriate for those two types of dreses. Hair should be down with a somewhat "messy-on-purpose" look to it, but take a large curling iron and put a few curls in it here and there. I have seen several young acresses wear their hair like this, and it looks very cute. I would take a clip or hair-band for later if you get tired of having it down. Accessories should be simple- wear some really cool earrings that stand out with hair-down (long, flashy). It would really look cute if you wore leggings and stacked peep-toe pumps with your mini-dress. Have fun!!

Put your hair in an updo, and put like chopsticks or something in it. (they make some just for hair at like target and stuff)
Wear a couple bright colored bangles (pink or red) and then wear a chunky necklace that doesn't go below the neckline of your dress.

You can clip it up. That would look cute! The way you should accessorize, that's a toughie. I love pearls and lockets. Simple ones, simple lockets capture the eye best. Don't go expensive, check out your local Macy's. They have fantastic sales. Oh, and carry yourself confidently. Everything will come through then. Happy Holidays!

Do you want to look classy or fashionable? Do you live where it is cold or warm? If it is cold and rainy- wear it down, if it is Florida- wear it up. Let the weather determine how you do it. Mid region- half up and half down.

dont over accesorise maybe a braclet and a necklace but you sould try diffrent hair styles in the mirror and see what looks the best!
