There are several good possibilities.
The one that will do it, if we last that long, is the heat death of the universe, when no more chemical or nuclear reactions are possible, and all energy has been reduced to randomized heat.
Another one, is that the entire Milky Way Galaxy will eventually get sucked into the giant black hole at the center, never to be seen again.
A more immediate possibility is that our sun will expand into a red giant in mere millions of years, which will kill everything on the planet before it vaporizes the world.
There are always asteroid collisions, which we may or may not be able to do something about someday. If we get off our duffs.
Evolution itself will eliminate us someday. What, you thought it stopped just because we were here? An even more fit species may come along someday. What survives may look human, but it will not be human, nor anything remotely related to us.
I suppose, if the worst-case scenarios for global warming hold any water (ha-ha) we could all get drowned or steamed. Similar caveats apply for pollution of any kind.
The most immediate threat to us is human nature itself. Space exploration, oceanic exploration, genetic manipulation, computers—we STILL have not found anything as interesting as war.
But, who cares? Why SHOULD we survive?
“A live body and a dead body contain the same number of particles. Structurally, there’s no discernable difference. Life and death are unquantifiable abstracts. Why should I be concerned?”
What difference will it make to anybody? If truth, love and justice meant nothing before humans came along, and they will mean nothing once humans are gone, why should they mean anything to us now?
You’re not starting to think that there might just be a God after all, are you…?

Our greed will cause it. We want money money money money! We destroy forests and such to gain profit. The biosphere will be damaged. Oxygen supply will decrease. Food will become more scarce. Ice caps will slowly melt. Living conditions will become horrible. With all of the free will we are given now, we will need it stripped by a government so everything can be controlled and things settled. But, we won't stand for it and have rebellions and fight. All these factors together will destroy the humans to the brink of extinction, leaving only millions alive. What we do from there, I don't know. That is, if we are still prospering then.
Also a massive meteor could hit, but there are none heading for us in the next 100-200 years or so, and if there are any coming the future, we'll have technology to blast them to pieces.

"From history to the present, it seems like humans just cannot get along with each other to get anything accomplished" We're currently nearly 7 billion strong. If we didn't get along, we wouldn't be here in the first place. We might destroy ourselves, we certainly have the capacity, but I disagree with your assertion. The computer and internet on which you are typing this is a example of cooperation across cultures and generations - no single man could have made all that.

I think greed, the need to have the most power and general disregard of people's right to be different will destroy the human race.

In my opinion the human race will not be destroyed, rather transfigured from flesh bodies into spiritual bodies at the return of Jesus Christ.
