Get at least 2 or 3 teething rings and freeze them. Let her gum them (always keep the extras that she's not using in the freezer so they will be cold). Also get some Baby Orajel or Anbesol, and give her some Infant Tylenol (make sure to follow directions). Other than that there's not a whole lot you can do.

Somethings that can help your daughter get through the pain of teething are:
-Baby orajel
-A really cold wash cloth she can suck on
-A teething ring

As to whether you should have another baby, well do you think you can give your baby that you have right now and the new baby all the love they need. It is really hard.
My babies are 10 months apart and it's really hard sometimes. They both need attention at the same time.
My son is 21 months old and my daughter is 11 months old.
It wasn't planned. I mean, I couldn't imagine not having them, and even though he gets a little rough with her sometimes, they do play side by side. He is still a baby himself yet we sometimes forget that being that he has a baby sister.
I love them to death and I actually like having them so close in age.
So if you think you can handle both little ones at the same time then go for it. It is a lot of work and requires a lot of patience. If you are ready for that, then your ready for another one.
Good luck.

1) Something to chew; varies with the baby, but teething ring, damp flannel, frozen flannel, car keys etc. all popular.

2) Gel on the gums. Calgel works best for us (she seems to prefer the flavour, so is helpful letting us rub it into her gums; which in turn is helpful, as she chews your finger - just avoid any existing teeth!).

3) Painkiller if she's old enough; Calpol first; if that doesn't work, and if she's old enough, try Calprufen (contains ibuprofen, seems more effective for our little one).

4) Try to not let it stress you too much. Yes, I do know how easy that is to say, and how hard it can be to do. But our babies pick up our moods, and just as trying to relax during birth was good, it's better to be chilled now.

P.S. Would be too soon for us - but the real question is "do you feel ready?".

Use calpol gel or something similar. Check the pharmacist, they can help you choose the best one. Definitely give baby either a cold teether to chew on or a rag (clean of course!) that has been in the fridge or freezer. We used camilia homeopathic drops for my grandson. They really helped, but you cannot find them easily. Most pharmacies do not stock them. Try an alternative medicine store, or look on line. I wouldn't have another baby just yet. Enjoy your baby girl and give her of your time and love while she is still very dependant on you. If you are rotten rich and can afford a nanny to help with raising the children I guess you don't have the worry that so many other young Mums have and that is how to juggle your time and money so that there is enough of both to go round.

If you want another child then thats up to you. As for the teething try calpol or bonjela that you can rub into the gums. Also get some teething rings to cool in the fridge

Teething is a very aggravating thing for your child and you. This is what I did. I always made sure that they had something cold to chew on. Teething rings in the freezer are a good thing. Followed by some infant Tylenol or infant Motrin. Also infant Orgel is great.

I used to let my little ones suck on a pop-sicle while I was holding it. They like it and it numbs their little gums.

Good Luck and may the tooth come through soon!

One very low-tech answer worked very well when my daughter was teething. Take a clean dishrag, soak it in water, then roll it up into a ring shape. Stick in the freezer for a couple hours, then give it to the little tyke to chew on. It really soothed her gums. Come to think of it, it worked well for our puppies too. Oh, make sure you ring out the dishrag before you freeze it, or it will thaw out all over your living room. Good luck and Happy New Year.

Umm get a teether adn feeze it. She'll bite on it and it'll help. There are off the counter ointment. That is good also. If you can take care of another baby then have one. Your choice. Bigger responsibility. You'll have to give the same amount of attention to both then, so one isnt left out.
