Its impossible to answer that. In certain areas, women are smarter.....in other areas, men are smarter.
People tend to look at the sexes stereotypically. The woman is the one who runs the household, and no decisions are made unless they go through her. And the man is always seen as a potbellied, beer guzzling, football watching, clod....who sits in front of the tv all day.
But most of the men I have met in my life, were very intelligent men who took in every ounce of knowledge that they possibly could. They could carry on intelligent conversations, and they knew way more than I could possibly care to know. They also have a knack for useless knowledge(but that's a different story).
The women I have come across in my life have been very ditzy women. They are the "I wanna shop I wanna shop!" type of girls, and they'd be dumber than a bucket of hair.
And no, I don't think it would be best if women were in control because women are emotional creatures, they get PMS once a month, and they have babies. So, if you had a woman president, what if she goes into labor during a major national crisis?
On the other hand, men are just as bad. They are vengeful beings, and sometimes very cruel.
I say, neither should be in total control. It should be a democracy. They should work together.

I think that some men are smarter than some women and that some women are smarter than some men. It would not be a good idea for women to be in total control nor would it be a good idea for men to be in total control. Women and men complement each other and there needs to be a balance of the two in the world.

I'm still a little unsure about women being smarter (although all evidence has pointed to this as truth). The real problem is, women still don't have all the opportunities of men. Therefore, they should be in control of their own lives and continue to fight for equality. If this means being in control of their relationships, so be it.

some women are smarter. no problem accepting that. but some women aren't. would not be best for women to be totally in control though.

I think we are smarter about different things. Just like you guys are. I like my man to be in control. I don't mind him wearing the pants.

It would be better if they were in control not because they are smarter, but generally are more sensitive, empathetic, and the like. There would not be wars, for example.

Gender does not determine intelligence. Intelligence is involved in genetics and other factors. Both genders have something to offer to society, and neither should be fully in control.

Yes, because we know emotians. Guys are smart to but more like sports or mechanical stuff. I really don't know we are smart in some ways and dumb in others.
