Again it depends on age. My birthday just past in November, I had friends in and out and doing for about 8 hours. Lots of fun.
It depends on what you and they like, and what is affordable.

You could have a huge 80's Vs. The Robots fancy dress party where people can come dressed up and enjoy themselves. 80's and Robots are good because the 80's stuff is easy to get from a charity shop and the Robot stuff, well anyone can make a robot suit out of a card board box and tin foil.

It depends on how old you're going to be. I personally will be having my annual birthday party at my favorite karaoke bar, and my friends will be serenading me onstage. Good times!!!!
