At times we might feel like it's somebody else's fault, but pointing the blame doesn't help anybody while making the choice to move on and forget is life and what we make of it.

Life has never been fair...
Our life is directed by the external effects and us but more external effects. Think the place where you born, the family that you were born to. Being born in Malawi where people suffers, by a couple of people who had HIV is what the baby makes it of? I don't think.

Certainly WE as a species, have the "ability" to direct our course,,,and/or detour it, in self sabotage.

MAKE IT might suggest ones level of joy, success, etc. and those, as well as other aspects of life are relative to ones desire and effort. Tolerance, acceptance, and occasional compromise must also be part of the "Engine" that drives us.

Without doubt there are "Stones in the Road" (Steven Wolf 1977, approximately) that offer, or insist we have to make choices. IE: "Stones" being a metaphor,,,,,,,,,,, We may encounter them and choose to turn back from them, never knowing the challenge or possible resolution. We may encounter them, even as overwhelming, but expend the energy to "MOVE" them... OR we may encounter them, and perhaps only through previous experience, SIDE STEP them, and move on down our "path" LIKELY, hopefully, learning from the experience.

Absolutely. "Life is 10% what happens, and 90% how you react to it."

Sometimes chemical imbalances in the brain may alter things. But in "normal" circumstances if you just don't let things get to you and take pleasure in the simple things in life, you'll be happy.

We don't know what will happened in our life. but when we do something wrong or not good for us, so we did it and we know what will happened after that. And some times you expect something good in the future but the fate don't make it good or something bad happened. We only guess the shape of our life but can't make it cause we don't control our life or consequences. It's fate and destiny

i believe that we all have the best intentions. but one never knows what reactions will follow our actions. i believe that if we were smart enough to set goals for ourselves when we are young, work hard to achieve these goals, we should be satisfied with our lives..but being human most of us would want more. its rare that you will find a person that is truly happy with their lives.

i think we can influence our life by the way we go about doing things and the way we act upon things in our life. but there are things we have no control over and can only try to change or make better.

To quote a country song: " Life's a dance, you learn as you go. Sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow. Don't worry about what you don't know, life's a dance you learn as you go..." John Michael Montgomery
