Yes and no. I think he deserved his sentence, but it could have been done without becoming a media spectacle. Humanity could have quietly closed a horrible chapter in history (which would have been so much more respectful to the victims of his regime) so that we could move forward. But the sickos of the world have to have their non-stop video coverage. Let's hope for a better 2007.

I think if ever anyone deserved to meet his maker, it was Saddam. Do you really believe that no one deserves to be executed? What if some one took your child, raped it until it died, and then had the pieces delivered to you? That scenario happened over and over again under Saddam's rule. Bush, although some may disagree with his policies, has never come close to committing the atrocities of Saddam- it's an uneven premise.

Why don't we ask the families of people he murdered what they think? Why don't we ask the woman who begged Saddam to return her husband to her? I must say, he did fullfill her request, he sent her husband to her chopped up in a body bag. I think I'll save my saddness for real victims, not someone like Saddam.

i know its sick, how they showed it on tv. but i dont think it was bushes desicion. saddam was a suck f**** but i dont think he should of been hung but maybe lethal injection or life in prison
