A Republican friend says all news but Wall Street Journel and Barrons Mag. are leftist propaganda. Do you think he is right.

Fox News. And no, I don't think he's right, I think the problem is that reality is not what the conservative Republicans want it to be. So, when they see something on the news they don't like, they pretend it's false by claiming that the news shows are biased.

Well, while media outlets like CNN and The New York Times are considered leftist propaganda by some, the Wall Street Journal and Fox News are by the same token republican propaganda. There is no news that should be trusted 100% and one should draw his/her own conclusions from a variety of sources.

That is an obtuse view of a single person. The Wall Street Journal is not Leftist... it is as far right as possible as the paper is the poster child for capitalism!

Your friend must be more extreme than most conservatives, because if I gather correctly the WSJ is largely seen as a conservative paper, at least when it comes to its op-ed section.
