It depends. Were you overweight when you got pregnant? If so, then that is OK. Also, are you drinking enough water and staying away from caffeine? A major portion of weight in pregnancy is amniotic fluid, which is influenced by how much fluid you consume. That is why they tell you to drink lots of water before an ultrasound. Your due date might have also been slightly miscalculated, at which point you still have time for the baby to gain another pound. At this point, you should be going to the OB once a week. If they haven't expressed concern by now, then I am sure there is nothing to worry about.

Depends no your size pre-baby. I am overweight and they say 15 lbs was average weight gain for me and I gained just barely 15 and lost it all during delivery. If you are very small to start then not usually is that normal, but your doc would probably have brought it up with you if they were concerned.

Every pregnancy is different. Has your doctor been concerned with your low weight gain? I gained only 25 lbs during my full-term pregnancy, and my doctor was not really concerned because I am really little to begin with. I am 5'4" and my prepregnancy weight was 110. Now I am 104. You may just bounce back really quick too.

Of course this is normal. My last month of my pregnancy I gained about 23 pounds and it went to my belly, breast, and everything else that was swollen. So don't worry I gained a total of 32 pounds.

That is perfect. I gained 20 pounds with both my pregnancies, and dropped below my prepregnancy weight within my 2 month checkup. Any more than about 18 pounds is just fat.

It depends on your pre-pregnancy size. I only gained 11 pounds with my son. As long as the baby's healthy and the doctor hasn't expressed concern, that's all that matters.
