I'm having a party at home, then we'll go out as ever at the stroke of midnight to watch the fireworks. Then we'll wish anyone else who's out in the street a happy new year, and then not speak to them until next new years day!

I'm staying home, I was on a transatlantic flight last night and have just got back from the States - I've now been awake for nearly 35 hours so I need my bed. My exciting evening has consisted of unpacking, showering and checking emails. Happy New Year everyone, my bed is calling me!

Goin to get drunk in the house tonight. The weather is a little TOO wild here to be staggering home. (North East). Even all the street parties have been cancelled.

I'm in and the Baileys may get a severe hammering! Like Sparky says, here in the N.E. it's wild, plus staying in,not as far to stagger to bed
