and looking at the specs, the battery is rechargeable, but i didn't see recharger, and there were some things on the specs that i haven't ever seen before, it would really help if you could explain this too.

im an idiot, the sync adapter which is included charges it.

No is not, they used to include it, i think they stop to do that in august. I bought mine in october.
You can still charge the battery with the usb connector, it just takes more time.

The charger is not included in the ones sold now, but it was when I bought mine. The charger is worth getting because it is way faster than the usb cord. If you get one, all the accessories are at creative.com

I got charger when i got my Zen 30 gig xtra ..i didn't see it with the vision m
