Dark, wet and windy. Oh and FREEZING! (surrey). It was so windy last night that the car park barriers at the sports club I work at broke. It also broke the covers to the outdoor pool and sent them flying into the club room windows! Not only did it wreck the pool covers but it blew the cover trolleys into the pool. Luckily I didn't have to fish them out when I started shift this morning! What a way to end 2006! Happy New Year :]

Blowing a gale and raining here in south-west Durham. Lights have been flickering, so will we have a power cut, I wonder?
I'm like Pompeii, a saddo in front of the TV, but there's not much on. Just Graham Norton on BBC1 doing some kind of stupid quiz about 2006 with some slebs. There is a good film on ITV with Arnie later though.

Greater Gunchester here! Reporting in...
the air quality is poor, but the high winds are blowing it towards Leeds!
We are all glowing green from the pollutants that have just been dumped on us in 2 inches of rain!
other than that, we're all safe here in our air raid shelter!
Thanks for asking!
Happy New Year!
Peace!

I'm in Surrey. It not too cold, quite blustery and light rain. But not too bad. I have a cosy fire and a friend coming to dinner, so all is well!

It is raining very hard and it is blowing a gale, my recycling is currently sailing down the road, well if the council don't empty my recycling boxes then God will.
No I haven't been drinking yet, I have bought some champagne especially for my New Years drink.

In the south west, it was very difficult to stand up earlier. The rain is pouring and it is bloody cold. We have extensive flooding and it is only going to get worse. Great hey.
Happy new year.

It was very wet and very windy in Coseley near Wolverhampton a couple of hours ago. It's settled down now but it's still cold and breezy!
