The Iraq War wasn't being fought on 9/11, and yet 3000 Americans were butchered by Islamic terrorists.

I think at some point it will become necessary for US citizens to decide to blame the people doing the killing, not the ones trying to stop the killing.
And yes, I think the Iraq war keeps the terrorists busy elsewhere.

The Iraq war was an arrogant blunder. If these people are bent on killing Americans... I doubt if the war in Iraq has much to do with it. Keep in mind, there was no Iraq war September 11th, 2001.

You really shouldn't listen to the terrorists news sites and their propaganda.
They have been attacking America and American interests long before Iraq, long before Bush, and they will be doing it long after Bush.

So, we should do what...ignore the bad men in turbans and wish them away? That has been tried and it failed miserably.
What needs to happen now, as a change in military strategy, is to load the country with troops and hardware and absolutely decimate any resistance. Turn the dogs loose and let them lay waste anyone who opposes us. Lock the borders and keep close tabs on the comings and goings of neighboring nations. Once this is done, we leave a standard force behind to keep Iran in check. Then bring the majority of our people home and begin normal deployment rotation.

Yes. It is made clear to them now, America doesn't take terrorist BS, like the rest of the world does, not counting the liberal maniac's who are slinging their own version of BS, by saying our presdient needs a rope, too. I'm sure they don't mean a rope to lasso the enemy. They don't seem to have a mind reasonable enough to decide who the good guys, and the bad guys are, in this showdown.

NO. And, the execution may or may not make things even worse.
Americans ought to be more afraid of their own government than they are of terrorists.
