Every time I start my computer an error message pops up.

If you are referring to the 0x800106ba "failed to initialized" error, then join the club. I also have this issue as well as do countless others. Apparently on 12/31 the beta version of Defender expires and therefor the error message.
There is a forum for Defender users that has a myriad of posts related to this issue. If your problem is related to something else the site may also be of help to you..

the error msg is abt? u didnt say nything.. neways uninstall ur windows defender and reinstall. reboot..

Please post the complete error message. It's not possible to diagnose the problem without that.

i guess you mean to say how to download windows defender to stop pop up ... then visit http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx to download .. please make it sure before installing it that your copy of windows is original
