I don't believe all these people know what a redneck is. I live in south/eastern Kentucky, and there are what you would call "rednecks" everywhere. My uncle, for example, could be called one. He is everything that rednecks are labeled....fishes all the time, drinks beer, has an old Lincoln out on cement blocks in the front yard, lives in a trailer, got married out by the pond, he even has a missing front tooth (it got knocked out when he was working, it didn't rot away or anything like that).....he also has the persona.
But, he's not afraid of work...whether it be out on the farm or at his main job, construction. He plays guitar and he writes his own songs, which are pretty good. He can draw/paint...a very artistic man. And you will also have never met a nicer person.....he gets along with everybody, and has more friends that anyone I ever knew.
A "redneck" isn't really that bad of a thing to be, unless you make it.

Did you forget that Clinton didn't invade Iraq and that Kennedy voted against invading Iraq? You’re taking words out of context. Kennedy’s speech was AGAINST invading Iraq. In the same speech he said, “But information from the intelligence community over the past six months does not point to Iraq as an imminent threat to the United States or a major proliferator of weapons of mass destruction.” Cons are such liars. Edit--In 2002 (not 1998), the UN inspectors weren't finding any WMDs. Bush knew that. Bush wanted to invade and lied. Edit--- You’re trying to defend Bush in 2012. Why? Bush and Cheney lied, misled other countries and misled the American public. That is the truth. You can’t pin this on the Democrats by cherry-picking their statements like Bush cherry-picked the intelligence info on Iraq.

True, the term Red Neck comes from the farmers who would plow their fields with horse and plow. Today farmers and or Red necks make America great by the joke or humor and the food they grow for us and the world. Soon farmers maybe growing our fuel for our cars! Larry the Cable Guy tells his jokes but when you sit back and think about them somewhere along the way his jokes were a reality in your life or someone Else's. I can relate to a lot of his redneck humor in my own family!

False. Intelligent, caring, loving immigrants from many, many countries (including those stolen and enslaved from Africa and China), along with strong and peaceful American Indians, helped make the U.S. become strong. Democracy and the right to a free education permitted further greatness.
