No. Stay away from that board. I've heard bad things about it too.

As "South Carolina Gamecock Fan" said, "some people can not work them" and "This is not merely a game."

Do NOT use it when you are in a state of fear or anxiety.

Be willing to be the person it will not work for, as SCGF and I happen to be. We are content to watch it work for another.

If you try it, begin by praying a prayer you feel good about. The Lord's Prayer/Our Father is helpful because it includes the words, "Deliver us from evil."

Being relaxed and open to peace and goodness is much better than being fearful ("Resistance causes persistance." "What you fear most will come upon you." "Worry is a negative form of prayer." "Energy flows where attention goes.")

I think you have a sense of what can go wrong. Why not print out SCGF's answer?

I was with 6 friends using a Ouija board once when it spelled out: G - O - T - O - G - O - D - G - O - T - O - G - O - D - G- O - T - O - G - O - D (over and over and over with a rapid movement of the piece on the board). Then suddenly, the piece moved directly over the "Good-bye" and stopped and wouldn't move again.

I've used one with no problems. Also, some people can not work them. I am one of those people, so I am forced to watch. They DO give right answers! So be prepared that you might find something out that you dont want to find out. The answers can be wrong if the spirit just wants to scare you. My friend's mom was told that she would die in a car (named the car she was driving at the time) soon. Well, she sold the car... now how will she die? Maybe the spirit just wanted her to sell it because it would kill her and she wouldn't believe the board anyother way. I have no idea. Just remember to go over the "goodbye" with the pointer at the end to close the connection. This is not merely a game.

No you want to stay away from this. In using the Ouija board you are opening a portal to dark entities that could harm you. Even psychics on TV shows have warned repeatedly about such involvement. I know it is sold as a game, but it really isn't one.
Please don't put yourself in harms way.

I think you should listent to your gut instinct. If you feel inside that you should not try out the Ouija board...then don't.

It does not matter if "something" happens or if there is any possibility of something haunting you. It matters only that your right to decide for yourself is respected. Do what you think is best. The reason for this is simple....you are the one who must live with whatever choice you end up making.

Why would you WANT to do it? Why would your frined? There is a God Who loves you, and will give you wisdom that is peacable, and you will NOT get into trouble for asking. God likes it very much when we seek His face, and it is written, "...seek and you shall find; ask and the door will be opened..." You do not have to be perfect to seek the Lord. There are many, many places in the Bible where a person who was not at all perfect asked for wisdom, and received it. There are no stories where someone was haunted by demons or ghosts, as punishment for asking God for wisdom or knowledge.

King Solomon did not have wisdom, so he asked God for it. He received great wisdom, and great blessings, too.

King Saul consulted the Witch at En-Dor. He was killed the next day in battle.

The Lord is good to those who seek Him.

I doesn't sound like you want to and you seem like it could really freak you out. If you are in fact superstitious then you will probably freak yourself out if something does happen. I would tell you to wait until your confidant that you will be able to handle it no matter what the results could be.

Just go ahead and try it. There is nothing scary about it... it is just a board and can't hurt you. Just remember that it is for fun and fun only.
