No, its not that simple. We (as a nation) were lead to believe that there was a link between Saddam and Bin Landen so we went into Iraq and demolished thier country. We now know there was no link and that Bin landen and other radical mulsem fanatics are still out there looking to destroy our liberty. In the meanwhile we need to clean up the mess we created in Iraq. It was irresponsible for us to go there it would be even more irresponisble to just leave without making a major effort to help

I think Saddam's death will make things even worse. He had a lot of people that hated him, but even more people that followed him.

uh huh! and the snowfairy is bringing me a dollar tonight for every snowflake i caught on my tongue today.
i met some guys last night on leave from that ****hole sorry excuse of a country, and patriot or not, i'd prefer to pull the pin on the grenade i hold in my hand and jam it in my mouth! just about anywhere in the middle east & africa, and a lot of the rest of the world: man! makes me realize our country IS the best, despite its problems.

Not really. They say 40,000 soldiers will still be in Iraq in 2008. Look forward to it ending in 2010. No joke.
