Since Native indians were in America far before the pilgrims, should we give native indians respect and a holiday in their name and honor?

A case can now be made that some of the earlier people (pre those referred to as native Americans) from Europe and Asia arrived in the Americas by boat. Likely this occurred multiple times.

That said. . . .

There is no reason that some form of a holiday couldn't be developed for Native Americans. Because such peoples were culturally diverse it would be interesting to see how such a holiday would evolve.

Well, holidays are created by people, individual people. So maybe you can start that holiday and get people around you to celebrate it. Then maybe it will spread to other places and in awhile be a real holiday. Follow your beliefs. You think they should have a holiday, make it so.

I think it would be insulting to "give" them a holiday in their own country that was taken from them with great violence and loss. They have their own ceremonies and celebrations that have been used and treasured by the people for centuries.

It would be a bit too Hypocritical to make a holiday for the benefit of the people you too the land from by force of arms. what have they too celebrate!
