I like to eat food from the concession stand during the movie but if you're trying to be a little more romantic....Go out to eat before the movie and maybe have a dessert like ice cream after wards.

After. The only foods that are allowed in a theatre are popcorn and candy, sold at extortion prices by the theatre owners. If you eat before the film and the food doesn't settle well in your stomach you may have to leave in the middle of the film you just paid to watch. Wait until after to have a meal. Eat a light snack before the movie, save yourself a bundle, and enjoy the film.

Eat after the movie.
certain foods may cause gas and may not set well causing a tummy ache. All this could ruin a good movie. Also prices at the movie are out of sight for snacks so save it until after the movie.

You should eat after the movie. If you eat before the movie, you'll have to get up and go to the bathroom during the movie. If you're hypoglycemic, though, and you haven't eaten all day, I'd suggest eating before a movie. Seriously, It's better to have to use the bathroom and miss only a small part of the movie than to pass out and miss the whole rest of the movie. (hypoglycemia is a disorder in which, if you haven't had anything to eat for a while, you'll get dizzy, extremely tired and sweaty, and then you'll pass out.)

My husband & I always eat before we go to the movies.
That way we are full and don't get tempted to eat the over-priced popcorn they sell at the theater. It always smells so good, but when I buy it I am disappointed in the stale taste and flavor. Also, if we wait til after the movie, we would be thinking about food, where to eat etc.. and our tummies would be grumbling all through the movie!

Eat after.
Its not nice digesting a large meal during a movie. Much better to eat after and discuss what you just watched with a fellow movie goer over a nice meal.

Depends on how hungry you are. If you a little hungry and think you can sit through the movie without your stomach growing at you, eat after, if you are hungry and your stomach has started growling at you all ready, even a little, you should eat first lol.
