It is always found out AFTER the fact if we think that something big that happened was predicted by Nostradamus. It is never mentioned before this something happens. If that is the case, how come Nostradamus' followers couldn't let us know about the so cal "9/11 Prediction?" Personally, I believe you can make up anything from his writings. If he talks about a ruthless king taking over, this can mean a new presidency, somebody getting a new job at an office building, anything! So what do you guys say?

None of Nostradamus' predictions have come true. Many were embellished to fit the event AFTER the fact, as you have already observed. True enough, why didn't the good doctor/seer predict the events of 9-11??? Why don't the believers of Nostradamus' quatrains remember, "...in 1999 the Great Terror will come from the sky..."???

Happy New Year!

When I was younger, like late teens, early 20's, yes, I did. It was a topic of conversation many times... but now?? His words can be interpreted many ways. Just like reading your horoscope. They are general. I could read my horoscope and think - 'Oh My, that is just like me", then go read every other horoscope too, and find that they all fit. sooo no.. I do not believe in Nostradamus predictions. Just like the bible, the words are interpreted by people just like you and me, who reads what they want to see.

There are Indians lore's that precede Nostradamus that state similar things while being just as accurate...................... And there are caveman drawing that tell some very unique stories that predates even the Indians.. And as for the Aborigines in Australia they have been the most accurate since the beginning of man. And there are drawing and artifact that have came out of Africa that are so old that not even carbon dating can date these object that tell us about the very creation of mankind..........................

He has never effectively expected something. His followers, because of the obtuse and obscure nature of his rubbish poetry prepare POSTdiction wherein they watch for an journey to ensue, then pour by using his artwork to work out in the event that they might mangle a translation adequate to in large condition (by technique of turning the classic call of the Danube river into Adolf Hitler for occasion). As a device for prediction destiny activities until now they take place (it fairly is meant to be the factor) for sure this style of element is thoroughly ineffective.

I believe they are great poetry, I believe they were well written and a great deal of fun to read. As for predictions, that is just a bunch of "junk" (Sorry for the foul language, but I feel strongly about such things and in this case I felt a need to use the "J" word, please don't tell my mom).

To a certain degree. A lot of his quatrains have been distorted, but all in all..he has hit some things pretty close...especially being a prophet of over four hundred years ago.
