Please could someone tell me how to get a film from the hard drive on my computer onto the i-pod. I know that you plug it in and that's it! Thank you. Happy new Year!

First, it has to be in .mov format. Most aren't, especially if you download them off some p2p software or something. I used total video converter. It gives you like a 15 day free trial so hurry up and use it to get a lot converted. You'll pick the file you want to convert, and then it will take you a screen with options of output file, chose iPod, and it will give a few choices and choose the .mov . After that, you can import it into iTunes and then transfer it onto your iPod.
Go to download.com to look for TVC or other converter programs.

If you purchased the film from Itunes then when you plug it in it should automatically put the film on your ipod. There is software you can purchase that will enable you to take movies from DVDs, get them to your hard drive and then convert them to ipod format. The software i use to decrypt movies from DVD is called DVD Decrypter (i found it using google) and the software that i use to get my movies to ipod format is called Videora iPod Converter (also found using google). in the the left hand side of iTunes, click on File, Then scroll to "add folder to Libary", Find your Film on the hard drive and open it and it should go to you your libary.

First, you have to download the video to/from itunes. Once the video is in iTunes, just plug in your ipod, and it should work.
