I am not gay myself, but I am a gay rights supporter as well as a Christian. I have become disenchanted with the Southern Baptist denomination because of their homophobia.

The ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America) is semi-gay friendly. The Lutheran church is broken up into synods (kinda like mini-denominations) and the ELCA is one. The ELCA allows gay members into the church. Gay ministers can not be married or have a relationship with someone of the same sex. Unmarried ministers (gay or straight) must remain celibate.

I don't know if their are particular Christian denominations that support gays as a whole, but I do know that some people within a particular church do approve of gay rights and gays. I am Catholic and gay, and I know that many people in my church are probably against it, but I am not, obviously. I try not to let it get to me. Just don't pay too much attention to what others in your church believe. You have a right to believe what you want too.
