A true friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out on you. Sometimes your true friend is like the stars because when things are cloudy it seems s/he is not there, but s/he always there, even if you can't see her/him!
A true friend is someone who thinks that you are a good egg even though s/he knows that you are slightly cracked. A true friend shares your soul, s/he learns the song in your heart and sings it to you when your memory fails. The tough part is finding such a friend. The other alternative is become such a friend!

u can't. TRUE friends are hard to find. Since u can't control people, you just have to hope they are true friends.. I have found thru out life that nobody can really be trusted though they may be friends...If u have a really bad time and the friend is still there..you may have a true friend..it's the bad times that really bring out the good or bad in people.. I suffer depression and when I am really down and suicidal is when I know who my real friends are..

The only test for true friendship is TIME. If it could withstand the test of time and still be there after all the good and bad times, then that is true friendship. You can never force someone to stay as your friend, it has to be voluntary. What you can do only is to be a good friend yourself.

A true friend is there when you need them thru thick and thin, good times and bad,. I have a best friend we have known each other since she was 18,(she turned 40 in September). We've been there for each other in bad times (her divorce, loss of her dad, loss of my brother, sickness and surgery of my husband) good times (her meeting a new man and getting married again, birth of her 2 children) I would not trade her for the world. I love her like she was my sister. You just know it in your heart.

I think it takes a lot of time to find and then realize that the person is your friend.if the person cares for you ,you and the other person are close always together that means the person who you are with is going to be your true friend forever.Good luck and Happy new year!
