Do not be concerned with labels, like straight, bi, etc. Do what comes naturally to you; fear not the bias of small-minded people.

I seem to recall studies where some women who shared a close personal friendship eventually over time chose to enter into a romantic/sexual relationship. After that relationship ended both women went back to seeing men and in general never had another sexual relationship with another woman. (There was also some speculation that male friendships were capable of the same thing but there wasn't any data on that back when I ran into the psych study).
It seems like these women were for the most part strictly heterosexual except with this one particular other woman. This might be similar to your situation. It suggestes that friendship between women could eventually blossom into something more eventhough these women did not generally seek out other women as prospective sexual partners in general. Translation your feelings for other women may only be limited to this one particular girl.
Hope that helps :)

Love comes in many different forms. Just because you have feelings for someone does not mean that you are bi or gay or something like that.... it just means that you are human. Now, if you feel sexually attracted to her, then you may be bi and there is nothing wrong with that either. If that is what you are feeling, then I suggest talking to her and finding out if she feels the same and take it from there.

Hi, i had a relationship like that but we were in a relationship fpr 3 yrs though. She's with a guy now;she still has feelings for me it just didn't work out.
I think feelings are feelings and you can feel something for a man or a woman regardless of their sex. You don't fall in love with the sex of the person you fall in love with them.
Talk to your friend and explain these feelings your having for her and see how she feels about you, hopefully if everything is kept in the open things won't be so weird.
Good luck!!

It is possible to experience feelings for both sexes, that is called being bi-sexual. You say you have always imagined yourself with a man, my question for you is, have you imagined yourself with a man because you are physically attracted to men or because society has caused you to believe that being with men was your only option? If you are equally attracted to both men and women in a sexual way, or even if you are a little bit more attracted to one over the other, you are probably bi-sexual. As long as you have sexual feelings towards both. If you only have sexual feelings towards women than you are a lesbian. Hope this helps.

Yes there can be very confusing emotions and no one is never "born" gay. Many are tricked into it or deceived into it and others just lacked the proper role models because of the brokenness of families. I urge you to look at the links below (I printed part of one) and to be very careful. Once involved in gender disorientation it can be very confusing and also discouraging later on. You yourself know its not normal for 2 of the same gender to have sex. Please for your sake and possibly for your future families sake be thoughtful and careful. Feelings can be very misleading.

If you have feelings for the same sex then you are not straight. You could just be curious.

It means you're bi. When you love someone you love them for their sole and for their heart not for what's in their pants.
I first realized that I was bisexual when I was looking at one of my friends new skirts in jr. high... then I realzied I wasn't admiring the new skirt I was admiring how good she looked like in her new skirt. lol
So it's normal, try again and see what happens... who knows, sometimes it takes time for the idea to fit nicely for you.
