do you realize every time you illegally download music some musician's strech limo gets shorter. it's gotten so bad brittaney has had to buy a smaller privite jet. you are taking the $300 an ounce caviar out of the mouths of rock stars every time you download their stuff. some have been reduced to only three or four mansions. and what this practice does to their agents and management companies, not to mention the producers, is simply atrocious.

next time you're at a music store, pay a little extra for that $0.59 CD they're selling you for $20. only you can save the starving millionaires.

Of course they can find out. Look at what happened with Napster. At any time they could've gotten a court order to make Napster reveal who all of their clients were. The government chose to go after the company making the illegal downloads possible because one prosecution is a lot more feasible than going after hundreds of thousands of people who download illegally. Do I believe in downloading music, I say yes because do they go after every person who records a song that they hear on the radio? The prices they charge are outrageous! iTunes charges $1 per song which is about what you'd pay per song if you bought a cd in the store. Except for the fact that the consumer isn't getting the physical product or the cover art they should be getting. THANK HEAVENS FOR LIMEWIRE!
