Ma friend made this myspace page about our school and tha gossip and wrote a fake hitlist..Now the deans said they got a supena against myspace but that was in november how long does it take for them to find out the ip address

Instantly. All it takes is a cop to make a call them BAM, there will be a knock on the door.
Myspace instantly gives up information about stuff like this. Even if you erase it, it is still logged and will be considered as a major threat.
Nothing is taken lightly anymore.
