What is the song "May It Be" by Enya about in connection with the
movie, "Lord of the Rings"? Did not see Lord of the Rings. It is ok for you to spoil the ending for me. I really like the song.

It's really referring to Frodo's journey and the ring's corrupting power over him. The phrase "You walk a lonely road" could be interpreted as Frodo's journey towards Mordor. In the movie it's said "To be a ring-bearer is to be alone" meaning that nobody can really understand you unless they've also carried a ring of power".

This isolating and corrupting power of the ring is represented by the "darkness is here, darkness has fallen" lines. In short, they are referring to Frodo's gradual descent into madness as the ring consumes his mind and the growing power of Sauron.

There are other, less important, and more subtle reference. The "evening star" is Earendil - which Galadriel calls "our most beloved star". The light of this star she's captured in a vial, which she gives to Frodo. He uses it in Shelob's lair to keep the spider away.

The lyrics are as follows:

May it be an evening star
Shines down upon you
May it be when darkness falls
Your heart will be true
You walk a lonely road
Oh! How far you are from home

Mornië utúlië (darkness has come)
Believe and you will find your way
Mornië alantië (darkness has fallen)
A promise lives within you now

May it be the shadow's call
Will fly away
May it be your journey on
To light the day
When the night is overcome
You may rise to find the sun

Mornië utúlië (darkness has come)
Believe and you will find your way
Mornië alantië (darkness has fallen)
A promise lives within you now

A promise lives within you now

It is not anything specific, just an uplifting song the vaguely follows the storyline.

between the flaws cults do is they take the flaws that are literal interior the Bible and cause them to symbolic, and they take the symbolic issues and cause them to literal. the final analysis is that the style of literature interior the Bible needs to be right referred to at the same time as interpreting Scripture. Context ought to also be considered as well. a procedures too typically human beings attempt to assign intending to a particular passage with it being remoted from its context. the way you requested your question looks to copy the popular idea of at present---that no man or woman really is conscious with any truth what the Bible really says. That basically isn't genuine. Jesus spoke an wide-spread language, and a lot of his words were recorded---in an wide-spread language. those words have meaning, and their meaning is sparkling. not all of Scripture is shrouded in secret, There are absolute truths contained in it, and we may be able to recognize them genuinely. interior the case of Matt 26:26 you've the Protestant theologians who've intently exegeted the Scriptures and performance concluded that Jesus' intending to be symbolic, while Catholics have Rome telling them that the meaning is literal. an straightforward laboratory try on the sacraments after the regulate boy earrings the bell would allow you to recognize whose interpretation is ideal right here---would it not not?
